Our Specialized Autism Therapy Programs
ABA Therapy
- Your child learns to communicate, express needs, and be understood
- We replace frustration and meltdowns with calmer ways to cope
- Everyday skills grow: routines, waiting, sharing, handling transitions
- We build from your child's strengths, never a one-size script
- The skills we work on are ones that carry over to home, school, and daily life
- We track progress with clear, measurable markers you can see
- Every session is one-on-one and moves at your child's pace, never rushed
Speech & Language Therapy
Speech and language therapy builds how your child understands language and communicates, whether through speech, gestures, or assistive tools when words are limited.
- Our speech therapists grow spoken language at your child's own pace
- We build understanding, so instructions and conversations make sense
- We support nonverbal and minimally verbal children with tools like picture systems or devices
- Social communication develops: taking turns, eye contact, back-and-forth
- We work on clarity so family, teachers, and friends can understand your child
- And as communication gets easier, so does the frustration of not being understood
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy builds the motor, sensory, and daily-living skills your child needs to manage everyday life with more ease and independence.
- We calm responses to sensory overload: noise, textures, crowds, lights
- We strengthen fine motor skills: holding a pencil, using utensils, buttoning
- Your child's balance, coordination, and sense of their own body improve
- Everyday routines like getting dressed and eating become more independent
- We help your child focus and stay with a task, for both learning and play
- We prepare your child for school routines and classroom demands

Real talk, I went in with my guard way up. We'd already done the waitlist thing, the evals, and two different ABA places, and I was running on empty. Then about a week in, my son looked right at me and said a word I'd never heard him say. I cried right there in the hallway. They understood him in a way nobody back home did.

The game changer for me was everything being in one place. Back home I was driving to OT on Mondays, speech on Wednesdays, and ABA whenever they could fit us in; it was a part-time job. Here it was one team, one plan, and they actually kept me in the loop. My daughter was excited to go. After everything we'd been through, that meant the world.
I was nervous about ABA, I'd read all the debates. But the way they do it at Bahamas NeuroGen put me at ease fast. It's gentle, it's built around my son instead of forcing him into a mold, and it follows his lead. He's communicating more, melting down less, and actually enjoying his sessions. This is the ABA I'd been hoping to find.

How Autism Treatment Begins
Questions Parents Often Ask
It depends on your child, and any honest provider will tell you the same. What we work toward is real, everyday progress, the kind you notice at home and that carries over into school. For some children that means finding new ways to communicate. For others it's getting through the day with fewer moments that fall apart. The most reliable way to know what's realistic for your child is to have our team assess where they are right now.
ABA, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy form the core. Around those we add aquatic therapy, art-based therapy, physical therapy, psychological support, sensory integration, nutrition guidance, and parent counseling where they fit. Your child works with the therapies that match their needs, combined into one plan and delivered by a single team, rather than separate providers who never talk to each other.
Through assessment, not assumption. Our team looks at how your child communicates, behaves, handles sensory input, and manages everyday tasks, then matches therapies to the specific strengths and challenges we see. We review the plan as your child grows, so it keeps pace with their progress instead of staying locked in place.
Because coordinated autism care is genuinely hard to put together back home. Families deal with long waitlists and a team of providers spread across different offices who rarely coordinate. Here, the full team works side by side on one plan, and a focused stretch of therapy, away from the daily juggle, often moves a child further than scattered weekly appointments. We also handle the logistics of the trip, so you can keep your attention on your child.
Every program is supervised by our medical team, and our therapists work every day with children who have a hard time with new places, new people, and changes in routine. We move at your child's pace and build trust before we push for progress, because a child who feels safe is a child who engages. If your child has specific triggers or needs, tell us early and we'll plan around them from day one.
Autism is lifelong, and there's no cure, so we won't promise a fixed outcome or overstate what therapy can do. What it can do is build lasting skills in communication, behavior, daily living, and confidence that improve your child's quality of life. Progress looks different for every child. Once we've assessed yours, we'll tell you directly where we believe we can help and where expectations should stay measured.
The first visit is about assessment, not jumping into treatment. Our team meets your family, gets to know your child, and evaluates the areas that shape the plan: communication, behavior, sensory needs, and how they manage day to day. From there, we build the plan with you and walk you through what comes next. It's set up to let your child ease in rather than feel rushed.
All ages. The goals shift with age, foundational communication and skills for younger children, independence and social and emotional support for teens and adults, but the individualized, single-team approach stays the same throughout.
